Scottish duo lose at OMMAC

John Cullen and Graham Armstrong travelled to OMMAC in Liverpool on March 3 to face dangerous UK-ranked opponents, but neither managed to walk away with a victory.

Cullen’s fearsome Muay Thai striking was negated by OMMAC regular Shay Walsh, as the 9-2 Englishman ground out a decision victory to earn himself a title shot. However, Cullen employed his usual exciting approach to the fight, managing to land a flying knee flush on the chin of his opponent.

Graham Armstrong continued his run of taking fights against tough opponents with a bout against Kaobon’s Uche Ihiekwe. The Liverpudlian ended the fight with a brutal ‘barrage of knees’ (see Jay Furness’ report of the action via the link at the bottom of the page) to improve his record to 7-3-1.
